What a beautiful spot for a wedding. Who knew that Serra Plaza, a courtyard within a mini mall could provide such a lovely and charming space for a wedding. Hanging chandeliers, comfy sofas and church pews all set the tone for Becky and Long and their gorgeous wedding. Congratulations to you both.

I couldnt be more thrilled than to shoot for a local Silverlake couple at the fabulous Carondelet House on the edge of downtown LA. A some what new venue I knew it would soon be a hot spot for couples wanting a romantic urban feel to their wedding. Dan and Veronica brought their own great taste to an already stunning location. Just check out how dramatic the ceremony spot is.

I started this year’s wedding season off on such a high with last night’s wedding at the Carondelet House in Los Angeles. I know this building well, a million years ago it was the administration office of my college, now turned wedding venue it so romantic and fabulous I was waiting to be able to shoot my first wedding there. Dan and Veronica pulled it off with impeccable taste and tons of fun. Soo many more to show later including details you will drool over.

Check out the beauty that is the Torrey Pines Lodge in San Diego. Such gorgeous rustic surroundings waht a perfect place for their crazy rockin good time of a wedding. If you only knew how many many dance, singing karaoke pics I could have posted. My favorite part was was when all of their wedding party surprised them with a serenade of the Lumineers Ho Hey.

It cant be easy planning a wedding in Los Angeles from New Zealand. But Madeleine and Charles pulled of this beautifully modern and intimate wedding at London Hotel in West Hollywood. Such fantastic decor, amazing flowers by Lilla Bello and delicious food by Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant. And I am crazy for Madeleine’s dress, how flawless doe she look?

I had such a fun time with Kevin and Mitra and their engagement shoot at UCLA (where they met) I knew I was going to have a great time at their wedding. I love a mix of cultures.. with anything, especially weddings. Kevin and Mitra managed to mix Persian, Jewish and Filipino traditions into their wedding. Beautiful and fun. You guys are awesome

Loving the Athenaeum on the Cal Tech campus in Pasadena. Can I shoot here all the time please. Sarah and Scott live in Pasadena, he proposed in Pasadena and we did their engagement shoot in the neighborhood she grew up in…in Pasadena. So after a lovely church ceremony We all made our way to the Cal Tech campus (of course they went to school there) for a stunning outdoor reception with a ton of amazing locations for the rest of our photos.

I LOVE downtown weddings. Totally my vibe. The mix of an amazing architecture landmark with an amazing couple with fantastic taste. Well here you go. Perfection. On top of it they are major dancers. So crazy for Tim and Gaby. We had the great engagement session at Camp Pendelton early this year and I just adore them and have the best time photographing them. A beautiful church wedding followed by fun portraits at the Glendale train station and fun, fun, fun reception. Their friends and family and can DANCE!! Happy wedding you two.
