One of my favorite places to be for a wedding and to shoot. The Natural History Museum at USC always makes for a unique wedding venue sparking creativity in couples and providing me with dramatic backdrops, lighting and beauty. A photographers dream. All of that aside Check out the best first look. Mike’s emotional reaction was just one of many throughout the day. I love him for that, and I am sure Carly does too. Congratulations Carly and Mike!!!
Oh and her dress!!!!
Huge congratulations to the sweetest couple Han and Ana. I am so in love with their photos in front of the giant sculpture near their wedding venue, The Center Club in Orange County. We were just coming off a heat wave and didnt want them and their bridal party to have to sweat before walking down the aisle and there was little shade to be had. Lucky for us there was this awesome sculpture near the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, it made for an amazing modern and unique backdrop. Han and Ana did incorporate a tea ceremony and if you are wondering what is happening a few images down with two tongues… Han had to perform a series of 9 “games” as dictated by Ana’s bridesmaids in order to win access to Ana. He and his groomsmen thankfully completed them all with laughter all around. Good times through out the day and night.

Its hard to go wrong with a wedding in the hills of Malibu overlooking the ocean. Then when you add beautiful touches like homemade mix matched napkins (brides mother) gorgeous flowers, fun food stations like an oyster bar and custom grilled cheese sandwiches you really have a fantastic wedding. Huge congratulations to Denise and Jason and perfectly fun and stunning wedding. Oh.. and the cutest ring barer ever their dog shadow!!!

You couldnt ask for a more a more beautiful southern California wedding than choosing two beach wedding venues like the Neighborhood Church and La Venta Inn both with their stunning views. And when you mix Matt’s New Orlean’s roots with Joyce’s Indian background you now you are going to have a party. Joyce surprised Matt with an flash mob Indian dance to Gangnam Style. Words can not do it justice and there are so many more photos of that for them to relive it. Matt and Joyce not only brought out Parasols to do a traditional New Orleans parade through the crowd he also did an impromptu “Lets Stay Together” serenade to his wife. Classic.
An amazingly great time for a beautiful couple

I just cant wait to go through the images of Monique and Sean’s wedding… a mere few hours ago. No bridal party, no sit down dinner, no…anything except the love and support of their family and friends at an awesome location.
Huge Congratulations Monique and Sean.
What a beautiful spot for a wedding. Who knew that Serra Plaza, a courtyard within a mini mall could provide such a lovely and charming space for a wedding. Hanging chandeliers, comfy sofas and church pews all set the tone for Becky and Long and their gorgeous wedding. Congratulations to you both.
I couldnt be more thrilled than to shoot for a local Silverlake couple at the fabulous Carondelet House on the edge of downtown LA. A some what new venue I knew it would soon be a hot spot for couples wanting a romantic urban feel to their wedding. Dan and Veronica brought their own great taste to an already stunning location. Just check out how dramatic the ceremony spot is.

I started this year’s wedding season off on such a high with last night’s wedding at the Carondelet House in Los Angeles. I know this building well, a million years ago it was the administration office of my college, now turned wedding venue it so romantic and fabulous I was waiting to be able to shoot my first wedding there. Dan and Veronica pulled it off with impeccable taste and tons of fun. Soo many more to show later including details you will drool over.
