What can I say about this beautiful wedding at Calamigos Ranch, I love shooting at Calamigos with so many photogenic spots every where I turn. Not only did Rachel pull off such a fantastic wedding with rustic details she did it overseas in England. I love her nod to her (now) new home with so many classic Americana details. And the dress… stunning, orange bridesmaid dresses…Love.

With so many gorgeous things to show it was hard to narrow it down to these 30. Congratulations Rachel and Ryan.

Couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous day at the Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, California. Groomsmen were decked in vintage cardigans a la Richard Nixon which set the tone for great style. Hannah couldn’t have been more beautiful, the expression on her face as she glides down the aisle beside her father, says it all.

Haas Family portraits at Paramount Ranch

I love so much about this family portrait shoot. I havbe been shooting the Haas family since their wedding and now both boys from the time they were born. We always have a great time and it is so great to follow the lives of one of my wedding couples and catch up with them through the years. Secondly Paramount ranch is such a great location for kids and photos. They get to run around and play within the ghost town and I get awesome backdrops to use for the shoot. So many great images it is hard to narrow it down. Look through my blog and you will see Luke and Liam through the years. Could they get any cuter.

Kymberly and Morten, fun, urban engagement shoot in downtown LA

Kymberly and Morten are getting married in his hometown in Denmark. Oh how I wish I was going to be there for their big day. Please please. But to show their adopted hometown of Los Angeles we went for the urban theme and headed to downtown LA. Everyone knows I love a brick wall!! Starting off at the gorgeous Union Station and hitting the street and ending up at a park near Chinatown for the sun setting. BEAUTIFUL! some of my favorite shots. Congratulations Kym and Morten.

I love (and encourage) an engagement shoot to be at a place that is meaningful to the couple. It makes it so much more personal and fun. Sarah grew up in Pasadena, her and Scott live there, he proposed on a neighborhood walk at the Tournament of Roses. And their wedding? where else but Pasadena as well. So of course we hung out in their hood went to the places they love, walked near and on the Colorado bridge and snapped photos as we got to know each other. I think this makes even more special to them. Congratulations Sarah and Scott. Looking forward to being at your wedding.

Gaby and Tim engagement photos Camp Pendelton and beach

HHow thrilled was I to have the chance to shoot Tim and Gaby’s engagement photos on Camp Pendelton. Their relationship started while Tim was in the Marines and stationed there. Gaby drove back and forth between LA and San Diego like only young love would do. Now 8 years later they are engaged and every bit as in love. I loved my tour of the base and we had so much fun shooting there amongst the tanks, obstacle course and open rolling hills. Of course Camp Pendelton is on the ocean so we ended our day at sunset on the beach. Sweetest couple ever. I had a blast and hope they love the photos as much as I do
